Google Tablet Vs Apple iPad Vs Kindle Fire

Android may be the number mobile platform in the US right now but iOS rules the roost when it comes to tablets. No Android tablet so far has been able to capture of the market to show to be a threat to the game-changer tablet tool from Apple. Only the Kindle Fire is said to be coming close to the iPad but then they are wildly different devices & the Fire was launched not very months back with a tremendous low cost tag. Besides, the Fire is so modified that it can not very be called an Android tablet. It is in its own right a Kindle tablet tool that happens to make use of the Android backend. It even has its own app store & regular Android apps & the App market cannot be installed or accessed on it.

This is where Google’s promise to market a definitive Android tablet comes in. This is the right time for them to this, now that they have Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. This latest version of the Android OS comes with support for both smartphone and tablet devices, making it perfect for a sleek, new age Android tablet device.

According to the original statement made by Eric Schmidt, the tablet will be of the highest quality. To most people, this seemed to mean that Google would be producing a top of the line Android tablet that would rival the iPad. However, a report from Taiwanese whistleblower Digitimes suggests that Google will instead try to go for the $199 price point and lure in the masses. Given that the Kindle Fire is the only Android tablet in the market at that price point, the Google Tablet (perhaps a Nexus Tablet?) will be directly competing with Amazon’s offering once it launches sometime later this year.

Now we does not have the best of information for being right about such elements but they might have something here. After all, this shows the clear split in the supplement industry where only the costly iPad is promoting in enormous statistics and the inexpensive Ereader Fireplace is the only element near to providing it any rivalry. And components hardly has anything to do with this. Ereader Fire’s cost is a good idea for the organization because it is just another method for Amazon to provide information. So promoting it for that inexpensive does not impact them. Meanwhile, Apple organization has a older behind it and a powerful incorporated hardware-software style that is reinforced by countless statistics upon a large number of well-developed and properly curated applications in the App Shop. Without their specific sides, the organizations would not have been able to make revenue that they are generating.

So it is feasible that Google has chosen to go with the low cost pitch. The mad response to the TouchPad fire sale & the Kindle Fire have both shown us the same thing — features don’t matter as much if the cost is low . But will Google be able to compete without anything unique to offer to back up an affordable tablet? Android already has its own benefits but those are already there in the competing tablets along with the company specific advantages mentioned above. They will must wait & see what Google is cooking this time.
